  • Oh, it begins innocently enough. The benign blue truck with the cute little Fries and Dip drawings. However, as the clock turns and the day wears on at LA Vegan Beer fest, seasoned attendees know that wait in line for the Fresh Fries Truck is a well needed starchy respit from the hopsy fun.
You’ll walk up and see the menu, and think “Should I go safe?”

You’ll see the delicious dipping sauces like Wasabi Ketchup or Artichoke Basil Mayo and think to yourself  ”That’ll go well with some fries. I think I’m good with that.”
You would be just fine to do so.
That is if you were a total amateur who isn’t prepared for the orgy of flavor that Fresh Fries prepares for you in their signature dishes. Whether its their Garlic-mad Vampire Repellent or the Indian-inspired Curry Crazy, we urge you to take a Vegan adventure with this LAVBF favorite. Because nothing pushes you through a few more hours of beer sampling, like some Vegan Curry Fries and Chutney.

  • LAVBF Breweries

Here is your full list of breweries for the 3rd annual Los Angeles Vegan Beer Festival! Keep checking back to this page for more updates as May 12 gets closer.

    Golden Road Brewery

Golden Road Brewing is an LA based brewery that strives to provide fresh, localized craft beers that are completely sustainable. With Brewmaster Jon Carpenter running the beer show, Golden Road aims to create craft beers that are as dynamic as the city of Los Angeles.

    Fireman’s Brew Beverages

Fireman’s Brew was originally created by two California Firefighters after battling a brushfire. It grew out of their vision to create premium ales and lagers that would quench their thirst after a long day on the line. Not only do they create fine beers, they also make their own coffee and soda. “Extinguish your thirst, Ignite the party.”

    Sierra Nevada

California born & raised, Sierra Nevada uses nothing but the purest ingredients for the finest quality beer. They began in 1980 wanting to create exceptional beers and are now known as the premier craft brewery in the U.S while maintaining a great brew.

    Karl Strauss

Karl Strauss Brewing Company was created in San Diego 23 years ago and is still their home today.  They took over the local beer scene in SD and the company continues to grow throughout California. Karl Strauss has a diverse lineup of 35 beers including year round faves, seasonals, and special releases.

    Green Flash Brewing Co

Created by pub owners, Mike & LIsa Hinkley, Green Flash Brewing beers don’t fit the traditional guidelines.  They take modern twists on traditional styles and have created a name for themselves doing just that. They house award winning beers and are available across the United States.

    Smog City Brewing

Smog City Brewing is in it for the love of beer.  They are currently located at the Tustin Brewing Co and are aiming to slowly nurture and make their roots in Los Angeles.

    Anchor Brewing

Anchor Brewing dates all the way back to 1896 in San Francisco. It is widely known for its Steam Beer and is one of the last breweries to produce this Californa common beer. With a vast history, including the California Gold Rush, Anchor stays true to its roots and continues to expand while remaining an artisan brewery.

    North Coast Brewing Company

North Coast Brewing is based in Bragg, CA.  This brewery has many well known craft beers under their belt including Red Seal Ale, Acme California, Old Rasputin, and more. Their beers are located in 36 states across the U.S. and are also exported to Europe and the Pacific Rim.
